Knifty Baby Hat

This is my simple baby hat pattern You will need the yellow knifty knitter 1/2 skein of soft worsted weight yarn

de-wrap=Stitch used double e-wrap. (wrap the peg three times around, take the bottom loop and lift it up and over the other two on the peg)

double loop= two loops from the cast on row.

flat knit= lay the yarn above the loop and lift the loop up over the yarn laying across the top.

Cast on 31 pegs, you will be working in the round, work 10 rounds of de-wrap, 4 rows of flat knit, the 10 rows of de-wrap

take the double loop in the beginning row and palace it one on each peg

work in the round for 20 more rows.( or long enough to cover the baby's head) do a gather cast off. pull tight, and weave in ends.

Finishing: work in any threads (i usually just tuck it into the brim when making the brim)
